Toddler (2–3 Years) – First Steps

At SAHI Preschool, our Playgroup programme is specially designed for toddlers aged 2 to 3 years, marking their first gentle step into a structured learning environment. At this stage, the focus is on comfort, care, and joyful engagement rather than formal academics.

We provide a warm, safe, and nurturing space where toddlers begin to separate comfortably from parents, build trust with caregivers, and explore their surroundings with confidence.

In this stage, children:

• Develop basic social skills through group play and interaction

• Enhance sensory and motor skills through music, movement, and hands-on activities

• Begin early communication through sounds, words, and simple expressions

• Build routines and habits such as sharing, listening, and self-care

Our play-based approach ensures that learning happens naturally through songs, stories, free play, and guided activities. The emphasis is on emotional security, happiness, and building a love for coming to school.
